Most sites are month to month, and our existing guests appreciate the idea of their neighbors being vetted.  

YES!!!! With a government issued clearance badge that matches your Driver's LIcense, such as Dbids, Twic, TSA, Military Ids and Veterans Id the fee is waived but the background check will still be completed. 

Clean background checks is same day and sometimes as short as 'within the hour'.  

Is the construction completed? On July 4th 2026 we're celebrating Freedom from Construction.  Construction on new pads and their utilities have been completed for a while already, meaning you do not have to drive through nor live next to any ongoing construction areas. The asphalt paving that was added, was a large step towards this completion.  However, because we are are the kind of people who are 'ever improving', there might be work going on to make this better, or add an ammenity there or do this here from time to time.  There are also the continued maintenance of all ammenities and park stuff that never has an end.  Are these things considered construction? We say they are park improvements with you the guest in mind.  

NO! Currently there is no bathhouse on site and all RV's must be self-contained, which means your RV must have its own bathroom and kitchen.  Why no bathouse at this park? We are out in the country and city water and sewer has not reached our area. This park has on-site drain fields and cannot accomodate any extra bathrooms or toilets at this time.  

We have a 10yr age limit on all RV's.  If your RV is around that time frame, pictures are required for approval.  Please e-mail a couple outside pictures to info@crosslakerv.com.  We do not accept RV's or vehicles with broken axles, flat tires, leaky roofes, missing or broken windows or with open/exposed siding or corners, even if they are newer than 10 yrs. These rules also apply to your vehicle.  

All RV guests who has to pull their trailer should have their own pickup truck to pull their RV.  The exception would be is if you are in the process of acquiring a truck or has a family member or friend living in Jacksonville who has a pickup that is willing and able to assist you.  We live in a hurricane prone state, so acces to a truck at all times is required. 

We now accept Passport America all year long on short term stays with a 6 night minimum.  It is 50% off any regular rate. Please call in to make your reservation over the phone, as we have to manually verify your passport america account. Have your customer ID and expiration date handy. Passport America Discounts cannot be combined with any other Promotions. 

Electric is included in your Site Fees up to 800kwh.  You can use as much electric as you want but when you go over these thresholds, we simply call it an 'overage' and it will be billed to you at the current electric rate.  No, your electric will not be cut off if you go over the limit but neither will you be notified.  Each Rv site is metered so you can check your usage if you like. Why do we do this? Well, some guests has electric vehicles or electric bikes or other stuff that uses extra ordinary amounts of power.
